The Hutschenreuther porcelain factory was founded in 1857 in Selb Bavaria Germany.  This handled serving plate with hand-painted cherries is very detailed & colorful.  The factory bottom mark seems to be the one used by Hutschenreuther in the early 1900’s when hand-painted items were at the height of their popularity.  While china-painting was also done by hobbyists, this plate was probably decorated at the factory.  It is about 10 inches across handle to handle & sits about 1-1/2 inches off the table.  Both the hand-painted design & the gold edging are in very good antique condition – no chips, hairlines, or crazing.  This plate would make an impressive display or serving piece.  Ships USPS.
