leaves behind small fibers that can rust and discolor wood in

sandpaper and other abrasives, with fewer scratches.

the application and polishing of hard finishing waxes such as
Lustra or Briwax!!
Gentle Abrasiveness – The wire shaving process produces
fibers that have geometric cross sections. The result is that
each metal wool fiber has several long, sharp cutting edges.
Unlike sandpaper and other grit-based abrasives that scratch away
material with sharp points, metal wool fibers perform like
thousands of microscopic scrapers or planes on a surface. The
result is a smoother surface after sanding and a better result
after finishing Fine metal wools are even used to clean glass and
polish fine wood articles.
Lustersheen’s
8 Pad Bronze Pads are also excellent around the kitchen, and the
kitchen sink for scouring and cleaning tough to clean pots and pans
and ovens. Since they are Bronze, they do not rust either, so you
get full use of the abrasive fibers. For general purpose cleaning on
pot and pans, we recommend the Medium grade.
Lustersheen’s
8 Pad Bronze in Fine Grade works exceptionally well cleaning glass
without use of any sprays or liquids.

Bronze wool is excellent for the cleaning and polishing of the
chrome on motorcycles. It’s a breeze to remove the heavy road grime,
dust and surface rust without scratching or marring the chrome. No
cumbersome sprays or paper towels to carry around. A few pads are
easily stored on the bike. Shine it on the road, when it counts.

were advised that The Lustersheen Bronze wool is ideal for scuffing
up the solder used on stained glass work before the patina is
applied.

for cleaning up the titanium frames of his racing bikes.
